How to use DANCE to give voice to your EMOTIONS

I see this all the time...⁣

People using dance to feel better instead of to feel more.⁣

Dance isn't meant to override your nervous system, but REVEAL IT.⁣


👉When you dance to escape sadness, anger, numbness, your system hears one message: ⁣


This state is not welcome here.⁣


So the emotion goes underground⁣
Stored in the fascia⁣
Held in the breath⁣
Waiting for a moment when it is finally allowed⁣


When you dance with curiosity instead⁣
Letting grief sink into the hips⁣
Letting rage ripple through the spine⁣
Letting stillness have a body⁣

Something shifts.⁣

Your nervous system softens because it is no longer being pushed.⁣

This is embodiment.⁣
This is self leadership.⁣
This is the kind of work that changes relationships, capacity, income, intimacy, and choice.⁣
