Feeling Emotions Vs. Processing Them
There's a big difference between feeling your emotions and actually processing them.
So many of us were taught to sit with our emotions, to "feel our feelings" - but without the tools or safety to actually move that energy through the body... we just stay in it.
You can feel sadness, anger, fear — even be deeply aware of what's coming up — and still not fully release it.
Processing means allowing that energy to move.
To shift.
To integrate.
To complete.
This is the work I guide my clients through - because we don't just want awareness...
We want transformation.
We want freedom.
We want to stop looping the same emotional patterns over and over again.
And that requires a somatic, body-led approach.
One that says:
"It's safe to let this move through me. I don't have to carry this anymore."
Your emotions are valid.
But they're not meant to live in your body forever.
When you have the safety of being held and guided to process your emotional pain, it's an incredible experience of healing and expansion.
