To the part of you that can’t stop doing...

On Monday's integration group, one of our participants shared something that hit deep...⁣

He said:⁣

‘Even after surgery... I couldn't stop pushing. I kept working. I couldn't rest.’⁣

That’s the Overachiever part.⁣

It’s the one that says:⁣

‘If I slow down, I’ll fall behind.’⁣

‘If I rest, I’ll be forgotten.’⁣

⁣And here’s what we explored together:⁣

1. That part isn’t bad.⁣

It’s actually trying to protect you —⁣

from feeling useless, unworthy, or unseen.⁣

It learned somewhere along the way:⁣

‘My value comes from what I do, not who I am.’⁣

2. You don’t need to force that part to stop.⁣

You need to get curious.⁣

Ask it:⁣

“What are you afraid will happen if you don’t keep pushing me?”⁣

When we asked that question on the call,⁣

there was this moment of stillness.⁣

The part was scared…⁣

but also relieved to be asked.⁣

This is the work we do every other week.⁣

Listening to the parts that usually get shamed or ignored.⁣

And slowly, gently… learning how to lead from Self.⁣

You’re not broken. You’re just BLENDED.
